Metrology for Manufacturing

Overview

Become familiar with measurement processes, types and correct use of measurement and test equipment, and measurement standards

Who Should Attend:

Technical staffs that are required to understand, implement, and manage modern metrology techniques and methods, and individuals who desire a general understanding of the science of measurement. Participants will apply their knowledge effectively within their own organization.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Define measurement and metrology

·Use the units of measurement

·Use the metric system

·Use the methods of measurement

·Measure angles

·Measure with basic graduated instruments like steel rules, micrometers, vernier calipers, and depth gages
