Overview

Enhance your ability to facilitate problem solving by learning some key tools: flowcharts, cause-and-effect analysis, check sheets, and pareto analysis.

Who Should Attend:

Individuals that conduct problem-solving meetings or participate in improving processes in their organization. Skills learned through Facilitator Skills are prerequisites for this course.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Differentiate among problems, causes, and symptoms

·Create a clear, focused problem statement

·Create a flowchart of a process

·Target areas for improvement by analyzing a flowchart

·Identify root causes through use of cause-and-effect analysis

·Make a check sheet for the purpose of gathering useful information

·Create a pareto diagram to display the priority of causes
