Overview

Learn practical methods for developing high-energy, well-planned training sessions through the Active Learning Model, that meet the organization's goals.

Who Should Attend:

This training session is designed for supervisors and upper management who will be conducting in-house classroom training for their group or organization. This session is designed for anyone who desires to improve delivery of training.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Identify good and poor training characteristics

·Define the role and responsibilities of a trainer

·Develop and deliver training using the six-step Active Learning Model

·Apply different training strategies to encourage active learning

·Demonstrate an effective delivery style through the proper use of body language, eye contact, voice, gestures, training aids, fielding questions, and verbal feedback

·Modify the training based on participant feedback

·Apply the Active Learning Model “Purpose, Objectives, Learning Process, Delivery, Evaluation, Modification” to developing and delivering training
