Overview

Use the tools of Root Cause Analysis to eliminate problems at the source.

Who Should Attend:

Cross-functional teams, natural work groups, problem-solving groups, or committees who wish to improve their ability to solve problems

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Apply the five-step root cause analysis process through the use of a manufacturing-based case study

·Describe the process from creating a problem statement and description through permanent root cause elimination and prevention of recurrence

·Apply various problem-solving tools and methods.

·Write a problem-solving statement and provide evidence to support the statement

·Describe and document a temporary containment action plan

·Identify and flowchart the process and identify the escape point of a proble

·Determine and verify the root cause of a problem

·Select prevention methods and standardize processes to prevent reoccurrenceIdentify and implement actions that result in permanent elimination of a problem
