Overview

Learn to read standard manufacturing blueprints.

Who Should Attend:

Individuals who wish to understand industrial drawings and/or use them as part of their daily work.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Identify the different types of lines used on technical drawings

·Identify abbreviations and symbols used on drawings

·Identify and interpret section and auxiliary views

·Explain how drawings are dimensioned

·Locate and comprehend material specifications, title block information, notes and revisions on drawings

·Translate between pictorial views and orthographic projections

·Visualize the locations of features in different views of a part

·Explain and work with tolerances and dimensions

·Identify assembly and detail prints

·Describe the parts of specifications, title blocks, and basic drawings
