Overview

Learn to read and interpret complex manufacturing blueprints.

Who Should Attend:

Individuals who wish to upgrade their knowledge of the "language of industry" as used in their workplace. Skills learned through Basic Blue Print Reading are prerequisites for this course.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

·Describe the components and functions of engineering drawings

·Read and interpret engineering drawings

·Determine tolerances for coordinate-dimensional drawings

·Apply print reading principles to complex drawings used at work

·Apply print information to part manufacturing and inspection methods

·Identify instrumentation and control diagrams, gear drawings, weldment drawings, and NC control diagrams as required
